BancTec expands BPO facility in Texas

BancTec, a US-based provider of document and payment processing solutions and services, has expanded its Dallas center to accommodate growth of the company's BPO business.

The company said the Dallas center that has provided accounts payable processing and document management services will now add remittance processing to its offerings and the Dallas operation will process both retail and wholesale lockbox services.

BancTec expects to hire approximately 50 new employees and contractors for the Dallas expansion.

BancTec senior vice president and president of the Americas Maria Allen said the expansion of the Dallas Center of Excellence will significantly improve BancTec's geographic footprint in the US and increase its capacity in the wholesale and retail remittance space. The Dallas center will help them provide even better service and deliver the most efficient receipt and processing of payments.

The company operates 19 BPO centers in the US and worldwide, utilizing a common technology platform to deliver reliability, security high levels of performance.
